Walking with Wildflowers

Esperance, Western Australia
FROM 18 Sep 25
TO 22 Sep 25

In spring, during the peak of WA’s world-famous wildflower season, Edgewalkers run five-day guided hikes in the Fitzgerald River National Park, about two hours’ drive from Esperance.

Your host is Dr Erika Jacobson, a passionate walker, curious traveller and creative. More than a guide, Erika provides a unique perspective and will help you feel the power of nature in the Fitzgerald Biosphere, considered to be one of the most diverse botanical regions on the planet. There’s about 2,500 species and 175 endemic flowering plants including Qualup Bell, Pincushion Hakea, and Woolly Banksia.

Each day you’ll be transported to a new walking trail with a backdrop of quartzite ranges, granite cliffs, limestone ridges, valleys, woodlands, pristine beaches and dramatic coastal scenes – you may even spot a whale or two!

At night you’ll refuel with a delicious vegetarian meal and connect with fellow travelers over the day’s highlights before a well-earned rest.

This inspiring walking adventure will help you unplug from day-to-day life and immerse yourself in nature.
