SAGE Farmers Market Moruya

South Coast, New South Wales

The award-winning SAGE Farmers Market in Moruya should definitely be on your to-do list when visiting the incredible NSW South Coast.

At this lively and authentic outdoor farmers market, you’ll find the best locally sourced produce and have the chance to connect with the people that have grown, made, baked and produced it. There’s meat and poultry, fruit and vegetables, dairy, eggs, honey, flowers, seedlings and the freshest seafood (the region is famous for it!). There’s also breads, cakes, jams and preserves, and some ready to eat food and drinks.

As well as the weekly farmers market, we love that SAGE creates access to locally grown food through its Stepping Stone Farm, established to showcase sustainable agricultural practices, and a range of community activities.

The SAGE Farmers Market is held every Tuesday afternoon, in any weather, at Riverside Park in Moruya. It starts at 3pm with the ringing of the bell!

Highlights

  • Find the freshest local seafood from Narooma Seafood Direct.
  • Buy some beautiful seedlings and fresh produce from Left Field Farm.
  • Take home delicious Jersey milk from Tilba Dairy.

Making a difference

  • Many farmers grow their produce following organic principles, without the use of synthetic fertilisers, herbicides or pesticides.
  • SAGE is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation whose mission is to create and support a sustainable fair food economy for the NSW South Coast and food sovereignty for local communities.
