The Flinders Ranges, in South Australia, is an ancient landscape offering some of Australia’s best wilderness and walking experiences. It’s the home of Rawnsley Park Station, a sustainably managed sheep station with luxury accommodation that provides the perfect base to explore the area and an opportunity to reconnect with nature.
Take it all in with a 3-day guided walk, designed as a relaxed bushwalking experience. Each day you will walk 9 to 12km and enjoy authentic bush experiences, shared adventures and the chance to get up close and personal with native wildlife including red kangaroos, emus, dragons and wedge-tailed eagles. Explore Wilpena Pound, Black Gap, Wilcolo Loop Walk and an afternoon helicopter flight to the top of the Chace Range.
For two nights you’ll return to your comfortable Ecovilla to watch the sunset from the deck and dine on local produce at the award-winning Woolshed Restaurant. One evening you will watch the sunset from the top of the Chace Range, before dinner under the stars and a luxury swag for the night. It’s your chance to discover the rhythm of the bush.
The 3-day Walks depart on selected dates April – October.
