Take a break from your daily routine and responsibilities and immerse yourself in nature on a forest therapy walk in Kings Park, in the heart of Perth. It’s one of the world’s largest and most beautiful inner-city parks and a place of peacefulness and relaxation.
Forest therapy combines mindfulness techniques and the therapeutic powers of being in the natural environment. The session commences with some gentle movement to prepare for a slow and tranquil walk. You will be guided to engage your senses and tune it to the rhythms of nature using mindfulness meditation and gifts from nature.
Then, you’ll wander along the 1.5km trail through protected bushland which provides a haven for native flora and fauna. Along the trail, your experienced guide will offer you opportunities to experience a deeper connection with self and nature through a series of complimentary activities. Allowing you time to be still, to notice and to listen.
The forest therapy experience will conclude with a tea ceremony with wild harvested Jilungin Bush tea.
