Salt and Bush Eco Tours host this guided wellness day tour just outside Perth in WA.

This experience will give you wonderful insights into the flora, fauna, fungi and geology of the local area. You are guided by a professional naturalist that will share the secrets of the environment as you explore.

Head from Mandurah to the Darling Scarp to discover the beautiful conservation area of Lane Poole, where you will enjoy morning tea by the river and take two guided walks. After a morning in the magic of Lane Poole you will be taken to a beautiful location for a picnic lunch of locally sourced produce. Then it’s off to an exclusive private property at the headwaters of the Murray River – a botanical wonderland owned by a renowned botanist in a beautiful valley surrounded by Marri, Jarrah and Blackbutt forest. A walk along the creek to a beautiful lookout will have you falling in love with this region and wanting to come back.

It’s more than a tour, it’s a full day immersion into the Natural World.

Inclusions

  • 1 to 2 Naturalist Guides to accompany you.
  • Filtered Rainwater refills (bring your own water bottle).
  • Morning and afternoon tea and picnic lunch.
  • Return transfers to and from Mandurah.

Making a difference

  • They also run a not-for-profit community organisation that helps all ages connect with our local environment and aims to foster conservation and stewardship.

  • Salt and Bush also take part in citizen science while on tour and help share these tools and practices so guests can do this themselves and help scientists gather information to help conserve our natural world.

This tour is held on Bindjareb Country. Pick up is in Mandurah WA 6210 which is less than 1 hour from Perth.
