Set on an acre of picturesque gardens and micro-Rose farm in the village of Trentham, Acre of Roses is a sensory oasis that invites calm and supports revitalised wellness.
Just over an hour’s drive from Melbourne, Trentham is known for its rich volcanic soil, a history steeped in Dja Dja Wurrung culture, gold mining, forestry, and potatoes, and most recently, renowned for the provenance of cool-climate food, wine and flowers.
With the private garden nooks and sensory outdoor garden ‘rooms’ and being located just a short walk to the edge of the Wombat State Forest, Acre of Roses is the ideal setting for you to unwind, relax and rejuvenate.
Accommodation is in the Miners Cottage, renovated to include a full kitchen, theatre room, a claw-foot bath and a therapeutic Turkish Steam Shower Room. There’s also the Potting Shed, a private, garden-themed studio for restorative activities during the day.
The property is a working micro-flower farm heady with the scent of more than 1500 organically and sustainably-grown heritage roses from November to May, as well as a potager, herb and apothecary gardens and an orchard for you to enjoy.
