Daylesford Longhouse is a home, a working farm and a cooking school – all in one. Set minutes from the idyllic town of Daylesford in central Victoria, the elevated property looks out over vast plains and bushland across Daylesford, Hepburn Springs and Mt Franklin.
It’s where owners Trace and Ronnen can enjoy their favourite pastimes – food and cooking, animal husbandry, gardening and self-sufficiency. They also offer cooking classes, farm stays and farm tours.
The award-winning Longhouse consists of the living quarters, a garden kitchen and a working farm building all within one, long shed structure. The living quarters has fully-furnished bedrooms, a functional kitchen and dining space that accommodates up to 4 guests; plus a lounge area, sauna, six-foot clawfoot bathtub and an outdoor bathroom.
We love that the Daylesford Longhouse brings the outside in, allowing guests to enjoy both the farm life and the comfort of a home.
