Shambhala Farm is a small family farm located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and the team has been growing organic food for over a decade.
The climate is typically sub-tropical, has high rainfall in the warmer months, and is surrounded by a native forest of Paperbark and rainforest. Farming practices are based on strong soil and ecological health to ensure nutrient-rich produce. This all provides the perfect setting to grow a diverse range of fresh leafy greens, herbs, and fruits on the 12-acre regenerative farm, that also hosts a Yoga Shala.
Owners Chrissy and Craig are passionate about inspiring and educating others to live in harmony with the Earth. The Shambhala team consists of regenerative farmers and educators, yoga and meditation teachers, ayurvedic nutrition and lifestyle practitioners, and a passionate group of people that love sharing wellness in the community. They offer Food Growing courses (online and on farm), nature gatherings, weekly yoga, women’s circles, and farm tours.
