Starry Nights Luxury Camping is settled in the tranquil forests of the Sunshine Coast hinterland, just over 10 minutes to the artisan village of Montville and 20 minutes to Mooloolaba Beach.
Owners Shane and Nicole worked with friends and family to build each of the 75sqm safari tents using natural building materials and without harsh chemicals. They are set on the hillside and feature old, recycled barn floorboards, basins hewn from stone and a cozy roaring wood fire. There’s also king-sized beds with organic linen, and an ensuite with a hot steaming bath and shower. The guest lounge has a sauna, massage chair, a pool table, games and books.
The property has a rainforest, a creek and riverbed with swimming holes so it’s easy to see why koalas, numerous birds, kangaroos, Tawny Frog-Mouth owls, the occasional bush turkey and the resident chickens (providing a constant supply of eggs), have all made a home at Starry Nights.
There’s only ever 2 bookings or groups at any one time ensuring your total privacy and a relaxing and peaceful retreat. It’s earthy, raw and a real camping experience with a little bit of luxury.
